Deeridge Farm Takes Championships and Top Ribbons at New York Shows

North Salem, NY --- Deeridge Farm, which is based in East Aurora, NY, and Wellington, FL, competed over the past few weeks at shows in New York state. They were very successful, bringing home blue ribbons and championship titles.
The Old Salem Horse Show, held in North Salem, NY, saw Grace and Phoebe Robinson pick up great ribbons in their divisions. Phoebe Robinson and her junior hunter Red Dragon were competitive in their division.
Grace Robinson and Hillcrest Country Lady had a very successful week. They were champions in the Small/Medium Children’s Pony Hunters and finished second in the Children’s Pony Hunter Classic. Their top ribbons in the division gave them the overall Grand Children’s Pony Hunter Champion title.
At the first week of the Saint Clement’s Saratoga Horse Show, Charlotte Jacobs was solid in the equitation divisions. She rode to second place in the Equitation 14 & Under flat class and was fifth over fences. Jacobs finished third in the ASPCA Maclay, eighth in the National PHA Medal, and was ninth in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search class. On her jumper Lawando, Jacobs picked up top ribbons in the Children’s Jumper division.
In the second week of Saratoga, Jacobs and Lawando won a Schooling Jumper class. Jacobs was fifth in the Equitation 14 & Under flat class. This past week, Jacobs competed for the first time in the equitation divisions at the prestigious Devon Horse Show.
Deeridge Farm will compete next at the HITS on the Hudson I Horse Show in Saugerties, NY, on May 28-June 1, 2008.
