Nine Qualifying Events Remain for 2008 $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational

Tampa, FL --- Only nine events remain in the list of qualifiers for this year’s $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational, presented by The Tampa Bay Tribune and Sweetbay Supermarket. The $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational is the culminating event of the Tampa Equestrian Festival, which runs from March 19-April 6, at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center in Tampa, FL.

The remaining qualifiers are:

March 6: $30,000 CN Jumper Stake at week eight of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, FL

March 7: $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup Round 7 at week eight of the CN WEF

March 13: $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup Round 8 at week nine of the CN WEF

March16: $200,000 CN Worldwide Grand Prix CSI-4* W at week nine of the CN WEF

March 20: $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup at week one of the Tampa Equestrian Festival

March 23: $75,000 Bob Thomas Grand Prix of Florida at week one of the Tampa Equestrian Festival

March 27: $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup at week two of the Tampa Equestrian Festival

March 30: $75,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier & the Just World Grand Prix of Tampa CSI 3* W at week two of the Tampa Equestrian Festival

April 2: $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup, CSI at week three of the Tampa Equestrian Festival
