East Dorset, VT --- This past week was the second of six weeks at the Vermont Summer Festival, and Deeridge Farm of East Aurora, NY, enjoyed their first time competing in the Green Mountains. They took top places in hunter and jumper classes, including a win in the Marshall & Sterling Adult Jumper Classic from Joan Jacobs and Boyke.

Jacobs and Boyke were the only clear round in the first round of the Marshall & Sterling Adult Jumper Classic to take the blue ribbon. They also finished fourth in the NAL/WIHS Adult Jumper Classic on Saturday. Boyke won the reserve championship in the High Adult Jumpers. On her second horse, Go West, Joan was fourth in the High Adult Jumpers and eighth in the NAL/WIHS Adult Jumper Classic.

In their first grand prix performance together, Lou and Kachina were double clear and finished fourth in the $30,000 Battenkill Grand Prix, sponsored by Hand Motors. On Soleil, Lou was second in the High Junior/Amateur Jumpers.
