Christilot Boylen Wins Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at CDI3*-W Kaposvár Hungary

Ottawa, Ontario --- Canada’s Christilot Boylen won both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Speciale at the CDI3*-W Kaposvár held October 14-16, 2005 in Hungary.

Riding Gachino (Gardez x Chinatown), an 11-year-old black Baden Württenberg gelding owned by Mrs. Hermosilla, Boylen was awarded 70.92% for top place honours in the field of twenty-three international Grand Prix competitors that included Denmark’s Lone Jörgensen and England’s Fiona Bigwood. The pair continued their dominance in the Grand Prix Speciale where they again grabbed victory with a score of 67.96%.

In the Prix St. Georges, Boylen, who is currently ranked 40th in the FEI/BCM Dressage Riders’ World Ranking List, rode to a score of 68.20% and a second place finish aboard the 10-year-old Hanoverian Don Valentino, owned by Alec Murray and Compositor Investments Inc. of Canada. After finishing fourth in the Intermediaire I with 65.40%, Don Valentino ended the show in a high note with a win in the Intermediaire Freestyle and 69.30%.

The international judging panel at CDI3*-W Kaposvár included Isabelle Judet (FRA), Rolf Beutler-Bath (GER), Dr. Wojciech Markowski (POL) and Victoire Mandl (AUT).
