It's Back! 2005 Foresters Charity Open Horse Show supports Alberta Kids

Calgary, Alberta --- After the great success of our First Charity Open Horse Show in 2004, Foresters is pleased to announce the Second Annual Foresters Charity Open Horse Show in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. This 3-day horse show is committed to raising funds for Alberta’s children who represent our future.

The event will be held at the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede grounds at the Big Top on September 23rd, 24th and 25th, 2005. This is Foresters second annual volunteer-run fundraiser and family-oriented horse event for al horse enthusiasts who are invited to compete in over 150 different peewee to adult classes. More open and fun classes, breed specific classes, the new Youth/4-H Team high point competition and many, many activities throughout the weekend. We will also have our special “Foresters Fiesta” party on Friday at the Victoria Pavilion from 4 pm to 10 pm, featuring live entertainment, casino style games, lots of prizes and more for the family to enjoy!

The first annual Foresters Charity Open Horse Show last year welcomed over 70 competitors challenging for championships in several disciplines and divisions. In total, over $20,000 was raised for the Alberta Children's Hospital foundation. This year, all proceeds go to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Oncology Program.
