An eight-time Olympian, Millar will lead the team. He has had a strong 2005 season, including his recent win in the $100,000 World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix in Palgrave, ON, riding his Athens Olympic mount, Promise Me. For the Nations’ Cup, Millar will have the choice between Promise Me, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by The Baker’s Dozen, and In Style, Lothlorien Farms’ 10-year-old Holsteiner gelding.
Henselwood has been consistently at the top of the Canadian show jumping ranks this year and represented Canada at the 2005 World Cup Final riding Special Ed. The 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Juniper Farms will be Henselwood’s mount for the Nations’ Cup.

Canada will challenge teams from Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and the United States for victory over the two-round competition where the top three scores from each team are counted towards the final result.
The $300,000 BMO Financial Group Nations’ Cup will enjoy same-day television coverage, airing on CBC at 7:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, September 10.
