Maritime Western Horse Extravaganza
PLP Show Centre, Sussex, New Brunswick, August 27th and 28th, 2005
August 18, 2005
Sussex, NB --- The Maritime Western Horse Extravaganza is hosted by the New Brunswick Western Horse Association and is a Recognized NBEA (New Brunswick Equestrian Association) Heritage Show. According to organizer Jeremy Hoyt, “this show was developed to encourage youth and novice riders to try showing in a less intimidating environment (than a large, breed or national association recognized show). But, there will be lots of classes for both the new or seasoned competitor.” The show will be both competitive and educational.
Unlike major horse shows, competitors in the Maritime Western Horse Extravaganza will have the opportunity to improve their showing techniques with tips from the judges following each class.
Saturday’s events begin at 9:00 A.M. under judge Herb Best, Trainer and Quarter Horse Breeder from New Glasgow, NS. Sunday’s judge is Mona Lewis, Reining Horse Trainer from Sydney, NS and classes will begin at 8:30 A.M.
