Equine Canada Approves Proposed By-Law Changes

Ottawa, Ontario --- At Equine Canada’s General Meeting, held July 25 at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa, ON, Organizational Members met to discuss proposed changes to the national federation’s by-laws.
A quorum of members was present and at the end of the meeting, the changes were approved by two-thirds of the voting members, as required by the by-laws, which state that any by-law changes must first be ratified by individual members by mail or electronic ballot as the final approval process.
For this next step in the process, Equine Canada invites all individual members to vote on the by-law changes, which are posted on the EC Website. To view the changes and cast your vote, please go to the Home page and click on By-law changes.
A ballot is available on the web page that can be printed from your computer and faxed to Equine Canada at 613-248-3484 or sent by e-mail to bylawsapproval@equinecanada.ca.
The deadline for casting a vote is September 15th.
