New!! Wanted: FREE GELDING for Trail Riding or Occasional Local Show.: I'm a lady in my 40's and am looking for a nice quiet gelding to trail ride once or twice a week and maybe enter a local show in the summer months for fun. Would prefer a horse that has been trained and ridden English/dressage as that's what I know best but a western horse could work too. No gaited horses. Want something with a quiet personality that I can trust when only being ridden once or twice a week and can leave over the winter months and jump on again in the spring. Will consider older/retirement horses but can't have any special hoof requirements/shoeing as we don't have access to qualified farriers in our area very often. If you have a horse that you'd like to semi-retire or one that just isn't getting the attention they used to anymore, I can provide a wonderful loving home with excellent care. 24 hour turnout with access to free feed hay (oats as needed). Can only accept a gelding as this horse would be kept at my friend's house and the other gelding there for company acts too studdy with mares (he might be proud cut). Please email me with info/pics. And please, no behavioral problems/bucking/bolting/rearing as I'm getting older and am not looking to get hurt. :) Thanks!

Looking for Junior Rider Horse: We are looking for a horse, for our 12 yr old daughter in Pony Club who has been riding for approximately 3 yrs and is jumping at 2’ to 2’6” with her current horse. The horse we are looking for is suitable for a junior rider that is starting to gain her confidence and ideally meets all of the following criteria:

-No shorter than 15 hands; no taller than 16.1 hands
-Age range between 9 yrs and 14 yrs (we are not looking for a prospect horse but rather a horse that knows his/her job)
-Proven jumping in the 3’3” to 3’ 9” range. Possibly an 'A' circuit Eventing horse that is looking for a different pace in life.
-We are not worried about how many ribbons the horse has but are looking for a properly gaited horse that is very smooth over the jumps regardless if they are 18” or 3’9”.
-No soundness issues (ie. Ringbone, etc)
-In the 2-4 temperament range (1=calm, 10=spirited)

The price we are willing to pay is directly related to how well the horse meets the above criteria. What we offer is a loving home on a full quarter section, stalled barn (in the process of being built) where all animals are properly cared for and to be honest maybe a little bit pampered.

Wanted - Well-Trained Paint or Pinto Cross: Found! Looking for a mare/gelding under the age of 8 years; would prefer colored but willing to look at flashy solids. Must have training in Western and English. Want a horse that can be hauled, lightly show and started jumping. Horse must be over 15 hands, gentle to work with and willing to learn. MUST PASS VET EXAM. Must be strong in basics and have an understanding of leg yields, sidepassing and giving to the bit. Beginner Looking for First Horse - Pigeon Lake, Alberta: Found! Mother of two looking for her first horse (kids may be led on it, but horse is for adult). Breed is no concern, but must be quiet, no buck/kick, ages 10-15 (age is not an issue if animal is very well broke). I would prefer a gelding, but would contemplate a good mare. Horse must be able to eat hay (don't want to feed cubes). Can't afford much $500-$1000 (for $1000, would need to make two payments) Thanks ever so much!

Looking For a Good All-Around Horse: Found! I'm 15 years old, and I've been riding for about 7 years. I was an active member of 4H for almost 5 years, until our club shut-down. I'm looking for a show horse. Something that can be shown in English, western, jumping, gymkhana, and maybe some cross-country. If they are green broke in one discipline but have the potential to go into any of the previous, that's fine too. I'm quite sure this will be my last horse for my teen years, so I'm looking for a horse no older than 6 (`03 baby) and no younger than 4. Breed is not specific, although I would prefer something that can be shown competitively in all disciplines. Must be registered. Gender does not matter. Color does not matter.
