Looking for Job as Stable hand or Assistant Trainer: Need help at your barn? Mucking out stalls, feeding, turning out, etc. Or perhaps you need a hand training horses, or students? I have 18 years experience in the horse industry. Presently enrolled in the Equine Science courses offered through Guelph University Distance education program. Working towards full diploma and certification. I am looking for full or part time work in the Tofield - Camrose area. I am available Mornings - afternoon (7:30am - 8:00am to 11:00pm - noon) Monday - Friday. I am a hard-working, honest worker - and I love horses to pieces! Experienced Stable Hand looking for flexible Full Time employment: Hello, I am an experienced and reliable stable hand looking to possibly make a job change. I am seeking employment that wouldn't have me on the road more than 1/2 hour one way. I live in the N.W. of Calgary. I am needing full-time employment which for me is 4-5 shifts per week. As part of the job I am willing to work some weekends and even some evenings. I am looking for the ability for the work schedule to have some flexibility to allow for me to make appointments when needed and to take vacation time with my husband. I have been employed at the same boarding barn for almost 6 1/2 years and my reason for considering a job change is simply because of a struggle to receive 4-5 shifts per week. The only day that I may not be able to work is Thursday but I would be willing to work a Thursday night anytime after 4pm. I also am unable to work any Tuesday evenings after 5pm. I am a dependable, hardworking young woman who loves to help people and horses. I have helped train many other stable hands over those 6 1/2 years and I consider myself to be a team player and great communicator. I would appreciate a more relaxed barn environment however, I am willing to consider a more competitive barn too. Olds College Student Looking for Work/Training: I am a 1st year English Horesmanship student, completing my 1st year at the end of April. I have a portfolio created of everything covered in my classes this year, as well as a resume of my previous work experience. I have been riding Hunter/Jumper for almost 10 years and have ridden countless horses each with their own difficulties! I am looking for work involving working with horses in the Hunter/Jumper industry - preferably riding so I can begin to use the skills I have been taught this year at Olds College. Ontario Student Looking for a Summer Position: I am an 18 year old female from Guelph, Ontario. Currently, I am enrolled in my first year at the University of Guelph in Agricultural Sciences. Looking for a summer position from May through to the end of August in the EQUINE industry in Alberta. I have some experience in training young horses and am an experienced rider. I am mainly looking to build on my training skills but am open to just about anything. I am an easy going, reliable student, a fast learner and am open to any offers.
